Brakes problem
1995 Honda Odyssey 4 cyl
----------------------------------------------------------------
I have recently replaced my brake pads but my breaks do not function properly. I went to a mechanic who told me I needed to replace my Master cylinder. This being an import from Japan, I could not get the parts here in the UK easily. So when I asked the dealers, they asked me whether I was looking for the Brake master cylinder or the brake slave master cylinder. This confused both me and the mechanic. My question is does this car have both of these or only one? Please kindly advice so I know which one to buy. Thanks

Hi reuga,

The dealer is making you confused. Never heard of a brake master slave cylinder.

We need to know the problem with your brakes to be able to provide any suggestions.

Brake pedal sinks when depressed for prolonged period of time and fluid level is correct?
