Unless the ignition key is turned very firmly to start the car, there is a brief clicking noise. I make sure clutch is all the way in.

The vehicle turns over fine and always starts.

About a year ago, the steering wheel was replaced, to correct a wiring issue to the cruise control. Not sure if related.

Do not recall if the click existed then, but it is nothing new.

Do I have a warn ignition switch, a questionable connection somewhere or other?

Is this something waiting to fail, or a permanent quirk of little consequence?
