2005 Honda Element element overheating

my engine is overheating especially when the air is on. if i turn on the heater the temp goes down. my fluids are fine but i have had to put water in the rad a couple of times.

Hi jimichk,

There is coolant loss and you need to rectify it before it causes more trouble. Check for leakages at hose joints, water pump and water passages.
