2004 Honda Element Rear Right Brake Noise!!!

A friend and I Changed the front and rear brake pads on my Element.....It was making noise but after you drove awhile the noise wasn't as loud. Its still doing the same thing even after changing the pads....The noise will be a loud grinding noise when you first hit the brakes....but then the noise gets real soft after driving a bit.....What could this be? The roters look good.

Hi obiegene,

Recheck the brake pad installation.

Ensure the backing plate are not too close to the rotors.
