Front lower ball-joint jacket is damaged - joint itself is intact and fine currently. What should expect to pay for jacket replacement?

Hi there,

reading in Mitchell 1 the lower ball joint is part of the steering knuckle and is not serviced separately, the knuckle is around $185.00 and labour about 2 hrs not including an alignment check, prices will vary depending on where purchased and fitted.
