My 1994 Del Sol turns over but the spark does not appear when I checked it so I know i either need a coil or a part in the distributor. do i need to replace both? i already replaced the fuel pump but it still doesn't start. it sounds like it's about ready to start but it doesn' turn over. Just trying to find out what part i need to buy so i can get it fixed. Thank you.

Hi pjb6575,

Check for power supply to distributor Black/Yellow wire with ignition switch on. If power is available, test the igniton coil primary and secondary resistance.

If within specs, you need to replace the ICM.
