honda dash lights an gauges

while driving my honda all the dash lights came on an the gauges all went out after driving it like this for few miles i was on then interstate i noticed my lights started to dim, i got an into a parking lot let it sit for a minute, now my lights are still on but the gauges are registering now when i turn the key over?????
