1990 Honda CRX Rattle jingle when I accelerate

When I accelerate (high or low gears) I often hear a rattling or jingling noise from the engine.

When I lay off the gas it stops. Also, it doesn't keep making the noise.

Wish I could be more specific.

Not sure if I'm shifting too soon? Rings?

it could be your header. check it.

Hi Harry,

Check or have your Timing Checked. If it is out it will cause the noise you are hearing and since it does it more on acceleration it would lead me more towards the timing.
