I am trying to find a diagram of the motor so that I can figure out why there might be water coming from the timing chain cover where it is leaking, and why it might be coming from that area? where it looks as though it it actually coming from the area between the motor and firewall just behind the timing chain cover.

Hi smustangs66, If coolant is leaking from the timing belt cover, the water pump is bad. that is the only thning that can leak from there. You would need to remove the timing belt to replace it. The red colored part is the water pump.
