it slipped out of gear this morning, and won't go back into 1st gear. I adjusted the clutch with no avail.

if it will go into the other gears then the problem is with the first gear linkage of the transmission itself.

mastertechtim thanks for replying so quickly.
so what is the best option for my money.
i just bought this car a month ago for $1700.00
i was thinking of selling it for more, or should i fix it since it is good on gas. $40.00 gets me a week from corona to anaheim.

i just installed a used transmission and new clutch in one the other day for 1200 dollars. its your call.
