1988 Honda CRX 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

just installed a rebuilt B18 from a 1991 Acura, most is built for horsepower but have a real issue with the idle surging from 800-1500 rpm. Checked the idle air valve and the ohms were within range. Could it possibly be the ecu located in the passenger area under the carpet. Thaks in advance!!

Hi TJ Fuller,
I would suggest checking for vacumn leakages, coolant level, clogges coolant hoses to fast idle and IAC valve and faulty fast idle valve.
