1987 Honda CRX fuel smell

I have a fuel smell comming from the filler neck area or maybe the fuel pump area but have not found a physical leak. the smell is worse inside the car. I have not pulled the tank but there is no fuel running down the sides. I do not see any signs of leakage. what are some possibilities????

Have the Evaporative system check from the charcoal canister to the fuel tank-
