1987 Honda CRX electronics not working, new battery lights

I bought the car 2 days ago, it ran fine other then a dead battery. it sat in my carport for a day. got a new battery this morning, put it in and nothing. the dash lights don't come on and nothing works. i need help

Hi misanthrope01,

Check the battery cable connections. If they are fine, check the main fuse in underhood fuse box.

Are the headlights and horn working?
