Engine Mechanical problem
1987 Honda CRX 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

Well the car is not that great of condition but its all I got right now and wanna keep it in some kind of good running order.

The radiator fan wasnt working when I got it but out of no where the other day it started working, and then the air vents were not pumping out any air unless I was moving, but they were before the fan worked.

now the car will not stay running unless the choke is pulled out into the second stage. It wont start unless it is in this stage and it wont stay running even when the car is warmed up. It should overheat when reving this high but doesnt.

all of a sudden the vents started working again, I really dont know what is going on.

please help me as I just want it to run like it was (which was alright). I am not to concerened about the airflow in the vents, I can figure that out another time.

do I need a new carboretour or what?

Whle engine is idling and fully warmed up-remove the aircleaner and look down on the throttle throat, you will see a butterfly looking plate is it fully opened. If not you need to adjust the initial opening of the choke to include the fast idle cam and idle speed refer to the repair manual adjustment procedures

Thank you.

If that does not work. Could there be a vaccum leak somewhere maybe?

I was told this could be the problem from a friend.
