I have been experiencing issues from the throttle body forward. I recently solved the p505 issue by cleaning out the idle air control valve but when I did that, the p1505 code popped up. Any ideas? I have taken the throttle body out twice since the new code popped up and don't know if it is something as simple as bleeding the coolant lines of all the air that I allowed in. When initially starting, it revs up to about 2,500-3,000 RPMs and then when put in gear it jumps from around 1,500-2,500 constantly but will jerk the car back and forth as it does so. It will accelerate by itself without any added gas, so I very much have to ride the brakes.

Hello,

The code P1505 is for PCV air leakage.
Have you reset the engine light to see if it comes back on?

This code can be due to leaking/lose PCV hose, faulty EVAP canister purge valve, Throttle body issue, leaking brake booster hose, intake manifold leak.

Try resetting the ECM. If the light exists after the reset procedure, then it could be one of the issues mentioned above. If the light goes off, then it just needs resetting.
I have attached the procedure below.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.

So far, no lights have come back on, but it is still jerky and will accelerate on its own. Any ideas on that one?

Is it idling high?
Surging can happen due to a number of reasons. One of the common causes is due to a vacuum leak or having improper fuel pressure.

It is now reading p0505 and p1505. The idle is reading at 1,500-3,000 RPMs at various stages in driving. Whether it be driving or if it is in park. When I go to turn the car on or off, it spikes to 4-6,000 RPMs. I have replaced many of the sensors, I have had professionals check for vacuum leaks twice.

As far as repair of replacement of parts, what have you done so far?
I want to have a clearer picture of what you are dealing with.

Have you already checked for any vacuum leak? Including possible intake gasket leak?
Many times, vacuum leaks can lead to random code/issues like this.
