Electrical problem
Honda CRV 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 7300 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
Our 2007 Honda CRV has been a great vehicle, but quite frequently when we drive it it builds up static electricity. When we open the door and get out and touch the (door) frame (metal) it shocks us. Can you specify the problem or tell us what we can do to the vehicle so the static electricity will discharge on it's own before it goes through us. We have not modified the vehicle in any manner and it has original tires and other original factory equipment.

You can attatch static straps to the back of the car, They need to be secured to a metal part of the chassis and must reach the ground
