2008 Honda CRV Doing my own maintnance

I was wondering if anyone knew if you were aloud to do your own maintnance on 2008 honda crv, or if I have to travel 45 min every time I want my oil changed, to keep my warranty.

Where warranty is concerned, only work done at authorized service centres are allowed and non-authorized repairs would void the warranty.
