Before I got hit in the rear of by car, there were no unusual nosies. Then I had a car accident and someone hit the rear. Okay. Got it repaired. Drove off and brought the car back the next morning because of a annoying, loud thumping sound from the rear passenger side. Got fixed again. Drove it for a couple of days, no thumping, but then drove it further distance and the thumping sound came back. What is causing this?

Hi ruby1244,

The description provided does not give us any clue as to what is happening.

Can you please describe the noise, when and how.

What was done the first time to rectify the problem temporarily?

It could be anything from a bad bearing to an out of alignment exhaust system.
