2006 Honda CRV overheating

The ac compressor is and always has been loud when it kicks on. I have noticed gradual getting louder and slight overheating ( not in the red but above normal ) which is getting worse at idle and now there is a humming noise. When running down the road everything is fine this is when I am stopped for any lenght of time

Hi carla B,

When A/C is turned on, check if both cooling fans are working. If any is not working, overheating can occur due to inefficient cooling.
