Headlight Failure

A couple of important things with the headlighlights is the bulb an not be touched by bare skin, or the oils from the skin will cause pre-mature failure. The housing and the bulb must be secure, no movement and lastly there have been some lousy quality bulbs on the market, try a different brand.

I am having the same problem with the bulbs burning out driver and passenger sides, I also am experiencing being shocked when I touch the door to close it upon exiting. Have taken car to Honda after telling them the issues of coarse they look at me like I'm nuts. They did a diagnostics test and of coarse they said nothing wrong $100 later. Replaced with. "Honda factory bulb", Now tonight its out again and i got pulled over by the cops. I tried to tell them (Honda)about the failed electrical connector at the headlight switch that was a recall on 2002-04. Was a waste of my time because I'm a woman and I surely don't know WTF I'm talking about.

This could be a problem with the alternator diode leaking which causes AC voltage to be generated. This will cause the lights to blow out and for you to feel the electrical.
