I need directions on how to replace the coil on the compressor. the coil is bad and needs to be replaced. it will not allow the clutch to engage.

Remove center nut, then remove armature plate,careful not to lose the shim/shims .Remove snap ring and remove rotor pulley.there is one more snap ring and the field coil will come off, reverse for reassembly
