2004 Honda CRV Bad vibration when turning

2004 Honda CRV 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 50.000 miles

Our CRV when turning either way hard makes like a thumping noise and it vibrates i just put new tires on
but it did it before i got new tires.could it be that it needs to be alinned?
