My wife just called me from the road and said low beams are not working. Only high beams work. Is the problem in the column switch or other area?

Just a wild question...have you checked the bulbs to see if they're not both burned out??? It can and does happen sometimes. Before you start tearing the switch off the column, it might be a simple, easy, and cheap place to start--check the bulbs!!

Has your wife been driving with one low beam not working for some time before she called you from the road to tell you both aren't working now? This forum can't help you with that issue.

I just noticed this post did not include the Subject i created.

Electrical problem
2003 Honda CRV 4 cyl 2 Wheel Drive Automatic 100,000 miles

This has just happened on my 2003 CR-V as well, litterally! My wife just called me from the road and said her low beams were no longer working... Perhaps its a girl thing like going to all public bathrooms together...

I have changed the bulbs to ensure it wasn't that, plus my wife is certain they both went at the same time.

Is there a relay and/or fuse that governs only the low beams?

As well, if it is the column swith is there a manual that would cover this type of replacement? I used to use Chilton manuals for my previous cars...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
