How can i recognize the lower side service port for my air conditioning system? and are there any helpful tips you can give me for when im doing this procedure

Low side service port is larger then the high side...those recharge cans only fit the low port...

For some reason th freon did not leave the can and enter my car...it still blows hot air...can you think of another reason for this to happen?

Hi shaggy11072,

When the AC don't work, it does not mean that freon must be low.

If it is not charging, either there is enough freon or the pressure at the low side is high.

You need to plug in pressure gauges to get the low and high readings to understand what is possibly wrong.

Don't forget, car must be running, and the can and valve upright, charge gas only on low side port, does the compressor run?
