I replaced my headlights with high intensity ones.Next day my batt. was stone dead.I bought a new batt.My vehicle worked but my dash icons would flash and my remote start quit.I put the old lights back in and everything is fine so far.Would you say that the alternator could kill the batt.overnight?

Hi anth5,

Alternators don't kills batteries, they are the lifeline for the battery.

The HID controls shuold be the cause of the problem since battery drain do not occur after removing them.
