2002 Honda CRV Brake pedal goes to floor

I have noticed that the brake pedal will go to the floor while stopped with the engine running, if more pressure is applied than was needed to stop. The master cylinder has been replaced and no leaks were found. I found that if the vacum line to the assist unit is dissconnected that the pedal then does not go down below where the brakes normally are effective.

On most vehicles with power brakes, this is normal.

If the pedal does not go to the floor with the engine off, you have nothing to worry about.
