When going over bumps I hear a knocking sound out of the front end.

Hi eddymercx,

Knocking noises are not easy to diagnose online so most likely you would need to get professional advice.

If the noise sometime rattles when gouing on sligthtly rough roads, the most common cause would be the sway ( stabilizer ) bar links and bushes. Get them checked out.

If the knocking noise occurs only when bumped hard, it could be a bad control arm bushing.
