When driving, my thermometer is in the middle where it should be but when I come to a stop and idle my thermometer starts moving upwards towards the red zone and after I park and check the fluid levels the resevoir if full of anti-freeze and the radiator is empty. So I take my turkey baster and put the fluid back into the radiator and the process is started all over again. I have a brand new radiator (2 months), a new thermostat installed and a new radiator cap. There are no indications of a leak anywhere.

What is my problem?

Hi rwashing,

Siince the radiator cap is new, bad news.

You have a defective head gasket. Do you remember when you last had an overheating problem due to burst hose etc? This is the end result, it sometimes takes a few months for it to appear.
