I live in Mexico, and they didn't start making CRV's down here until 2002. As a result, when something goes wrong, I have to order all of my parts from the U.S.
My radiator has a leak, and I am not sure if it is due to the fans not working properly or not. I don't want to order a radiator and then have it spring a leak again because my fan motor is busted. I want to just order everything at once and fix this thing right the first time. The problem is, the Honda dealership here won't deal with any Honda CRV that was made before 2002. I need to know how to check and see if my radiator fans are working properly. Any help would be a godsend.

Hi mattamateo,

Test the fans by applying power supply direct from the battery or through the fan relays.

As to the radiator, a pressure test would show which area is leaking.
