Trying to remove driver side door panel but the lock mech is stoping me from removing panel?

Hi eduardorull,
You mean the inner handle? You need to remove the screw and push the cap forward to get it out.
If it is the lock knob, lift the door panel up to get it clear, wind down the door glass for easier removal and installation.
