2000 Honda CRV catalytic converter

it looks as though my catalytic converter has come lose and is hanging down. Can it be put back into place

I assume the flange rotted right off or the flex pipe broke. If it's the flexpipe you'll need a new flex pipe. If its the catalytic flange, you can probably get away with just welding in a new flange.
