My car has electric automatic door locks and the drivers side is stuck in the locked position. All the other doors work with the switch, but you cannot even pull up on the door lock to get the drivers side door unlocked. It just started today, after I had started and warmed the car, stopped at a store, got back in, then when I went to stop again, the door would not unlock as the others do.
Can it just be the cold?
Should I take it to a mechanic or can someone tell me if I can fix it myself?

Sounds like the door lock actuator could be stuffed. Either that r one of the locking poles are broken or bent? its hard to say without seeing it.
