1999 Honda CRV Alternator???

I was on the highway in my CRV and all of a sudden my engine went dead and the dash lights came on. I pulled to the side of the road and the vehicle wouldnt' start back up. The radio still worked but when I turned the headlights on the radio turned off. Does this sound like an alternator problem?

I would be getting both the alternator & the battery tested for serviceability.
