1. I drove less than a block from home and the dash lit up and the car was stalling (I am not sure what lit up exactly). I heard clicking noises from the dash (if my memory serves me correct, because everything happened so fast). I pulled off to the side of the street. Turned off the car, turned it back on with no issues and it drove just fine.
2. I drove for ~2 miles on the way home from work. I was taking a turn and noticed the car slowing down when I had my foot on the gas. This time all of the lights on the dash turned off and it was difficult to steer. I put the car in park and turned off the car. Turned it back on within 1-2 minutes no issues, again it drove just fine.
3. I drove for about 2 miles from a friend's house going home and the car started slowing down even with my foot on the gas pedal. I pulled off to the side and put the car in park. I haven't turned off the car yet. If I remember correctly the oil and battery light were on and I tried taking it out of park but it would not let me. I turned off the car and it turned on just fine and drove home.
4. Today, I was driving home from work. The car slowed down while my foot was on the gas. I looked down at the dash and the speedometer and tachometer were not working and all the lights on the dash were off. I immediately turned on my hazard lights and those were flashing on the dash. I pulled off to the side, wheel was hard to steer. I put the car in park, at this point I have not turned off the car yet. Before I reached to turn it off, the oil, battery and park light suddenly appeared. This time I was able to take it out of park despite having those lights on, but I put it back into park and turned off the car. Turned it back on and it drove just fine.
My dad has been trying to help me diagnose it, but he's also telling me to look on the internet for some solutions. I looked up the VIN on the internet and know that the ignition switch is a common issue. It looks like that was taken care of by the previous owner, because I did not see that recall come up. My dad is a DIY kind of guy and would rather solve this issue without taking it to a shop. I believe we have replaced the fuel pump, ignition coil and module so far.
