Shakes or Wobbles problem
1998 Honda CRV 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 17000+ miles

Dear Car Pros,
I have a 1998 Honda CR-V that shakes and wobbles anywhere from 58-65 MPH. Before and after these speeds, it's a very smooth drive. We had the tires rotated and balanced, so we are ruling this out for now.

Any thoughts?

Hi Melissa,

If the vibration is reduced when the throttle is released, the problem should be caused by the front CV shafts inner joints.
