The green light on the shift level indicator for DRIVE on my Honda started to blink, so I checked the manual and it said to get the transmission checked. I decided to try changing the fluid first (the level was low) so after a short drive from the auto parts store where the clerk refilled the fluid, I was hoping that the light would go off. It didn't. Does it take a while? Should I drive it longer and see if the light goes off before I take it in for more costly repairs?
