I am a poor student interested in buying a used Honda Civic 1992. It has 150,000 miles and is going for $1,200. But, when I looked at it, I noticed the front fender was cracked and the windshield also had a slight crack at the driver's side. My question is, how much would it be to replace the fender and windsheild without spending too much. I appreciate any suggestions you have in helping me in make this a worthwhile deal.

thanks, AJ

Windshield might be around $100. The fender or bumper. The fender is metal and is it dented as well?

You would be best to call and talk to a body shop on the fender. Get a couple of estimates. You shouldn't have to take the car to them but if you know the details you should be able to get an estimate.
