Hello everyone, I got this car a month ago. the base of the car has scratched with speed breakers and high slopes nearly around dozen times. It is exceptionally irritating. I drove a Cutlass before and never confronted the issue. Any proposals or driving safety measures please? Respects.

Measure the chassis ride height and correct it if it is low. The people at any tire and alignment shop will have a small book that lists every car model and year, where to take the measurements, and what they should be. If the car is sitting too low, the coil springs are sagged and must be replaced.

If mileage warrants new struts, the best approach is to install "Quick-Struts" which are the complete assembly including strut, coil spring, and upper mount. The assembly costs less than a strut and spring separately, they take a real lot less time to install, and there is no safety concern with springs flying out of the spring compressor and causing injury or damage.
