I occasionally hear a scraping/ringing noise coming from my right front wheel area. I suspect a brake problem, perhaps a loose caliper, but I don't know. I hear it for a minute or two, then it goes away. I thought maybe it was ice, but then it happened after I had been running the car for over an hour, so I don't think ice is the problem. Anyone experienced this problem before, or have an idea to share with me as to the likely problem?

Did you do a brake inspection? most likely your front brake pads are worn down to the scraper.
