I'm trying to see an approximate price range to get cb boots replaced? Also, how can you determine if it is the Cb boots that need to be replaced? the car makes a clicking kinda rattling noise when making a sharp turn like a uturn when the wheel is turned all the way only??

You do not need CV boots, you need axles if the cv joint is clicking. It's roughly $100-$150 for an aftermarket axle and an hours labour for install.

Honda will replace axles under warranty if your CV's are making noise on an '08 with only 39k on the odometer. just go to the dealer and don't bother with aftermarket axles. We have replaced a lot of Civic axles, but I've never seen one go bad with only 39,000 miles on them though.
