Wanted to know how running a car without oil affects the car. I know the engine was replaced but could the lack of oil cause other problems down the road?

yes, lack of engine oil will cause the internals of the engine to seize up which would require an engine replacement. why would you run the engine low on oil? it's a very simple procedure to replace the engine oil every 3,000 miles..

other than engine failure, low engine oil would not effect any other system / component of the vehicle..
