2006 Honda Civic light clunking noise

2006 Honda Civic 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 63.000 miles

Hi;
Ihave an 06 Civic LX coupe that has a slight clunking sound on slightly rough roads.Ilooked under the front of the vehicle and all Icould really see is a little in and out and side to side play, roughly about 1/8 th of an inch where the shafts go into either side of the transmission.Thank you for yourhelp Jeff.

2001 - 2006 Civic has tendency to have the strut premature failure. I would have someone check your both strut assemblies, front engine mount, and ball joints.
