I have an 06 Honda Civic with 70,000, much of them highway miles. I've noticed within the last year the car will shudder once in awhile when starting out on a hill. I bought this car brand new, and I certainly don't beat on it. I'm not sure if I'm letting the clutch out too fast, but I can drive a manual transmission fairly well. When I get the car serviced, the clutch is always something on the complimentary check, and they always check it as OK. Does this slippage mean I will need to replace the clutch?

slipping and vibrating are 2 differnet things. Have the motor mounts checked to be sure none of them are bad.Somewtimes you can just catch teh engine at a bad spot rpm wise and they dont like it and will shudder trying to accelerate
