2005 Honda Civic How do you take brake pads off 05 Honda Ci

2005 Honda Civic Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I tried taking the brake pads off of a 05 Honda civic EX and to much of my failed effort I can not reset the brake calipers. I tried a brake spoon and a C clamp, but the caliper wont move. I was wondering if they seized up or does Honda have some cool guy trick to reset the calipers. Thanks!

If the caliper has the parking brake attached, you need the caliper tool to screw the piston back in...use caution so you don't tear the boot!
