2005 Honda Civic Car turns off

Hi,
My car turns off while I am driving. The battery light goes on and everything on the dashboard turns off, and then the cars turns off. Just put in a new battery and had the alternator replaced in May. ANy clue what it may be?

When engine turn off, were the dash indicators lights showing?

If not, the ignition switch is bad.
