Engine Cooling problem
2004 Honda Civic 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 157k miles

I just noticed white smoke coming out from under my hood. I took a look and there was a liquid that was clear but felt oily. i think it might be the radiator and also if it helps it just snowed yesterday. I wanted to know what it could be and about the cost?

Hi hmitre,

Clear oil are used only by the power steering and AC system. Check if the powers steering fluid level is low.

When the weather is cold, the operations of the engine can produce steam, can that be the white smoke that you are refering to?
