Air Conditioning problem
2004 Honda Civic 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi,
My ventilation fan stopped working today on my 2004 Honda Civic, so the only way I can get fresh air into the car is by driving with the windows down. The fan will not work on any setting and there's never been any indication of a problem before now. Just wondering what you think may be going on?

Hi marilynd721,

Most probably the fan motor is faulty or power supply is not getting to it.
Give the fan motor housing behind the glove box some vibration by hammering it with your fist and see if the motor works with the ignition switch turned ON.
If it works, the motor is failing.
If it does not work, check if there is power supply to fan motor wire connector with ignition switch ON. Power should be available, if not check the underdash fuse # 14 (10A)
