I have read elsewhere that jumping the 12-volt battery on a Honda Civic hybrid (possibly any hybrid) can cause damage to the IMA hybrid battery. Is this true?

Hi Randall,

I checked through and could not find any Technical Service Bulletin regarding jump starting procedures that can cause damage to the IMA batteries.

Can you let me know the source so that I can check that out?
