daughters car was broken into when she went to start car it was hard to get key in car started she went to the store tried to start car key wont turn ,steering wheel wont turn. she has a 2004 honda civic ex 2 door

If the key cannot be fully inserted, most probably the key cylinders has been damaged or foreign matters are lodged iside. You would need to get the key cylinder inspected/repaired.
