2004 Honda Civic fan turns on right away on cold car and do

hi my name i ruben and i bought a 2004 honda civic ex with 29k miles. it was hit in the front and was fixed and has a reconstructed title. it runs and drives perfect but the fan always turns on when you start the car even when its already cold? do you have any idea what might be the problem? thanks alot

Hi Ruben,

I would suggest checking the fan switch and its wires for shorting. Unplug the fan switch and turn ignition on, fan should not work. If fan works, check the fan relay for shorting.
